Webb15 mars 2024 · I enjoyed the film, but not as much as the book (which I read many years after seeing the movie). The idea of basic communication and connection giving hope back to desperate people was there in the film, but there was more philosophical depth and social commentary in the book and those ideas would have worked on screen.
