Webb30 maj 2009 · WE do a lot of old houses down here in Houston. There are pretty easy to level. Spend $30 on a Zircon water level. Use metal shims. If you decide to put a basement under, I would do it before anything else. The probability is that after making the house beautiful, you will need to brace it to receive the basement. Webb1 juli 2024 · If the tounge jack is touching the ground, the trailer will not properly level. Place a 4ft level on different parts of the trailer deck to check for level. Make adjustments until the trailer is fully leveled on all four sides. Once leveled, lower the tongue jack all the way down to the ground to ensure additional stability.
