WebIn December 1998, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Ltd., in partnership with Queensland Rail (QR), will launch Australia's ultimate tourist train, the Great South Pacific Express. The Express is being built entirely in Australia using local materials and historic designs from Australia's railway heritage. It is a quintessential Australian train.
