WebIt can be used for life-threatening bleeding in patients with von Willebrand's disease but only when the proper preparations of concentrated vWF (Humate-P [CSL Behring GmbH, Marburg, Germany]) are not available. Cryoprecipitate may be required to correct significant hypofibrinogenemia (<100 mg/dL).
